Does it have a battery?
No, for these reasons:
First, everyone these days seems to be doing a battery backup. But we found nobody is addressing the need for stylish, portable outlets. So we wanted to start out with providing what we believe is a solution to an unaddressed need.
Second, when your battery backup runs low, along with your laptop, cell phone, etc, you're stuck looking for an outlet. We want to be the coolest set of outlets you can put your hands on.
Finally, a battery backup will typically only charge your USB device. What about your laptop? Or power other 110V devices? That's why we built-in 3 electrical outlets to go with the 2 USB. We want to solve all your mobile power needs.
Can I get my money back?
Absolutely. Just submit a refund request along with why you no longer feel the love and after we stop crying, we'll process your refund immediately.
When will I get my stuff?
We are scheduling the first round of pre-orders for the JouleBAR to start shipping early 2016.
Where will you ship to?
Our first pre-orders are available for shipping in the United States and Canada.
How much is shipping?
You back us and we'll throw in the shipping. How's that?
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Joule products come with a one-year replacement warranty against manufacturing defects. If it doesn't work, you get a new one.
What exactly do I get?
Every Joule product order ships with the power supply unit, power cable, wall mount plate, instructions for usage, and a slick travel case to keep it all safe.
What other colours do you have?
At this time we are offering only this colour and finish combination. As we grow the company, so shall we grow the product line. We have so many awesome ideas for additional models we could barely decide on which one to go with first. In the end, we had to select the one that was most cost effective while still allowing us to do something exciting.
Are you guys for real?
We have seen so many products get introduced and then when it comes time to deliver, they fall short or their customer service sucks. This is something we wanted to avoid at all costs. As a new company starting out, our reputation means everything, and we only get one chance to make a first impression. We will do everything in our power to make you happy. Because happy customers are the best form of advertising.
